The Gibsons

Bill and Vena Gibson
Pocklington, York, 2010.

The living room is an essential part of the Gibson’s daily lives. Much of their day is spent in that room, engaging with daily activities such as watching sports on the television, putting together jigsaws, and even having their meals. The window on the other end allows a view for neighbourhood watching.

When Bill has guests, they are invited directly to the living room. A nurse comes every so often and tends to them there.

Their most treasured items are displayed in their glass cabinet. There is a wedding photograph above the fireplace which Vena is very fond of.
